It's almost 20 years ago that I entered the telecommunications and high tech market as a PR and MarCom manager for an IVR and Prepaid Telecom start up in Miami. My career evolved and today I focus on customer experience, strategic consulting, and marketing innovation. I've developed domestic and international business strategies for both start-ups and established global organizations including Cisco Systems and Nuance Communications. As Chief CEO and Chairman at Epixtar/ Voxx Corporations, an International contact center company, I presided over the exppansion and operations of over 2,500 seats of inbound and outbound care and sales across the US and Asia.
As Managing Director and Lead Consultant for the Internet Business Solutions Group at Cisco Systems, I drove strategy for the Cable and Emerging Service Provider business units. I've also served as VP of Marketing for a fixed wireless company and for two IVR and prepaid telecommunications companies and began my M&A experience in the early days of the Internet boom when I led a roll up of multiple ISPs for a large CLEC based in Texas.
Beginning in 1994, I dedicated my time to encouraging women’s participation in the contact center, telecommunications, and mobility industries by starting a speaker’s bureau, which was honored in Ms. Magazine. Amongst my other accomplishments, I founded the Telecom Business Women's Association (now Women in Network Communications), past Board Member of the ITA, former Board Member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT) and of the USTA. I actively speak at industry conferences and via webinars, including CompTel, Storage Networking World, Small Cap Investor's Conference, Overseas Investment/CIS Forums, J.D. Powers’, SpeechTek, and Frost and Sullivan to name a few.
